Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of complex, scalable data models using BW/4HANA Advanced DSO (aDSOs), Composite Providers, and Open ODS Views based on LSA++ principles.
• Lead the design and development of complex Native HANA information models using Calculation Views (Graphical/Script-based, Star Join) and Stored Procedures.
• Develop, debug, and optimize advanced stored procedures, table functions, and scalar functions using HANA SQL Script to implement complex business logic.
• Build and maintain end-to-end data flows from SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP sources using ODP-enabled extractors and CDS views.
• Implement data integration from SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP sources to Native HANA using BODS and SDA.
• Perform performance tuning using PlanViz and SQL Analyzer to optimize HANA models, reducing query time and memory usage.
• Coordinate with the security team on roles and privileges (analytic, structured, package), and manage transport of BW/4HANA and HANA models using CTS.
• Proactively suggest performance enhancements for the existing Native HANA and BW/4HANA landscape (DTO, Table/DSO Partitioning, Logging Framework, Data Quality Check Framework, Automated Monitoring, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8-12 years of total experience, with at least 5-6 years of relevant experience in Native HANA standalone
• SAP Certified Data Engineer – SAP HANA and/or BW/4HANA preferred.
• Expertise in SQL and CDS scripting.
• Experience architecting and optimizing end-to-end Native HANA and BW/4HANA solutions using advanced data warehousing concepts, SQL Script, and LSA++ architecture.
